MINISTRIES
At Abbe Road Baptist Church, our desire is to make disciples of Jesus Christ at every stage of life. From the youngest children learning the truths of God's Word to senior adults continuing to grow in wisdom and faith, we are committed to providing opportunities for biblical instruction, spiritual growth, fellowship, and service. Through age-appropriate ministries, sound teaching, and Christ-centered relationships, we seek to equip every believer to know God more deeply, walk faithfully with Christ, and serve Him effectively. Our goal is not merely to fill programs, but to cultivate lifelong disciples who love God, love others, and live for His glory.
SUNDAY SCHOOL

The foundation of Christian growth is the Word of God and we take seriously our responsibility to teach it. From Nursery age through our most senior adults, we have a class for everyone! Our adult class materials vary but you can be sure they are faithful to the Word. We invite you to check out a class this Sunday!
ADULT

Opportunities to learn, grow, and connect are abundant. We have several adult Sunday School Classes that faithfully teach the Word, and discipleship (one-on-one) studies are available to fit into a time convenient for you. Fellowship is an essential part of our walk with the Lord, and we have many opportunities, from after-church dinners to ice cream socials to Adult Bible Fellowships; we've got it covered! Get connected!
MEN

Several events are planned throughout the year, including breakfasts, seminars, and golf outings. Men of all ages are welcome to attend.
Saturday Men's Prayer - 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM
WOMEN

We have an active ministry among the women who attend ARBC. Each Sunday, our ladies' Sunday School class offers an in-depth study in the Word of God. We have a Ladies' Bible study that meets on Wednesday mornings at 9:30 am. Mentoring is also important to us, and we make ourselves available to any lady who would like to connect in this way. On Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm, our "Moms & Mentors" ladies group meets for prayer and Bible study. We offer evening Bible studies at various times, including the authors mentioned above, as well as healthy living and nutrition classes. How can we serve you?
YOUNG ADULTS - SINGLES

Our Aletheia Ministry is a group of young adults who have united with the sole purpose of seeking truth. Together, we investigate the teaching of God's Word, the Bible, and apply it to our lives. The name 'Aletheia', which is Greek for 'truth', is a reminder to all that God's truth should govern all of our thoughts and actions. We meet the 2nd & 4th Mondays each month at 7 pm and on Sundays at 9:30 am every week.
YOUTH

Retreats, service projects, work days, overnight events, ministry opportunities, worship team involvement, and Bible study—our youth ministry provides a variety of ways for students to grow in their faith, build lasting friendships, and serve others. Whether serving our senior adults, reaching out to our community, or studying God's Word together, our goal is to help teens develop a genuine and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our Jr. and Sr. High students meet every Wednesday evening throughout the year and gather each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. for Sunday School. Led by caring leaders who love God and are passionate about investing in the next generation, our youth ministry is a place where students are encouraged, challenged, and equipped to live for Christ.
If you're looking for a place where your teenager can belong, grow spiritually, build meaningful friendships, and learn to follow Jesus in everyday life, we'd love to welcome them to our youth ministry!
CHILDREN

At Abbe Road Baptist Church, our Children's Ministry is dedicated to helping children know, love, and follow Jesus Christ. Through engaging Bible lessons, age-appropriate activities, special events, summer programs, and our children's choir, we seek to teach God's truth in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment.
We provide loving and secure childcare for infants and toddlers, allowing parents to participate in worship and Bible study with confidence. During our morning worship service, children ages 4 through 2nd grade are invited to participate in Junior Church, where biblical truths are taught at a level they can understand.
From September through May, children of all ages can participate in our Awana Clubs ministry, where they learn Scripture, grow in their knowledge of God's Word, build friendships, and are encouraged to develop a strong foundation for a lifetime of faith. Our desire is to partner with families in nurturing children to become lifelong followers of Christ.

At Abbe Road Baptist Church, we strongly believe that families are a part of God's design. It is in families where children grow best. AWANA is a tool for you as a parent to help raise your child in knowledge of God's Word and to help nurture your child's relationship with God. Children who thrive in AWANA are often those with parents who are involved and apprised of what their child is learning.

AWANA is an encouraging, uplifting program that builds lasting foundations of faith for children and youth. Clubbers discover God's love and their identity in Christ and become disciple-making disciples who reach out to their friends. Children age 3 to 6th grade are welcome to join us at Abbe Road Baptist Church on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm for energetic game activities, Bible-based teaching experiences, and small group time with friends.
